Volunteers are needed for:
- Mentors for families/children
- Supply/Donation Coordinator
- Correspondence/Mailouts
- Compiling/Updating mailing lists
- Greeting/answering phones
- Recruiting, training, scheduling volunteers
- Hosting families/children at Family Center
- Administrative work/record keeping
- Data entry/basic computer
- Work in a team of fundraising campaigns
- Develop or assist with special projects
- Compiling list and contacting churches/clubs/businesses for donations
and/or services such as daily necessities and household items families need
to set up housekeeping in their own place.
- Using personal life experiences to help families become independent by
one-on-one coaching on daily life skills such as how to shop, ride a bus
and/or to encourage them during job searches and saving/budgeting salary.
